Slow Down Crafts invites you to slow down. No mass production, just colour, warmth, and care. Handmade by the women of Saheli in India, where hard work comes with laughter, chai, and pride. You'll brighten your home and support more opportunities for women and their families.
SDC was founded with one main purpose: women’s empowerment. Together with our partner Saheli Women, we co-create home accessories. Saheli Women was founded by Madhu with just a $100 budget. Many of the women already had sewing machines at home, but Saheli Women gave them the opportunity to turn their skills into real income and independence. Today, more than 200 artisans work in the studios in Bhikamkor and Kali Beri, creating beautiful textiles through handloom, block printing, and natural dyeing. Saheli Women stands for slow fashion and provides a safe space where women gain freedom, confidence, and financial empowerment.
